Indie Music Journalism · Venezuela
Deep, bilingual coverage of Venezuela's indie movement.
El Panfleto is a bilingual digital magazine focused on indie and alternative music made in Venezuela. We were built to cover what is usually ignored by mainstream cycles: local scenes, creative process, cultural context, and the people behind the songs.
We do not optimize for volume. We optimize for editorial judgment.
El Panfleto was founded by Carlos Escalona Cruz and Miguel Marquez, both graduates of Taller de Arte Sonoro in Caracas, Venezuela.
That shared formation shaped a common editorial conviction: Venezuela's indie movement has a distinct voice that deserves serious documentation, critical attention, and international reach without losing authenticity.
To strengthen Venezuela's authentic indie movement and establish El Panfleto as an editorial reference point for understanding its present, preserving its memory, and expanding its reach.
We want an emerging band from any city in the country to be covered with the same narrative dignity as established acts.
El Panfleto does not only publish stories. We also build practical growth platforms for artists.
El Panfleto runs on a mixed model: memberships and responsible advertising.
Our goal is not ad-heavy publishing. Our goal is long-term cultural journalism plus practical growth tools for independent bands.
If you believe in more rigorous, closer, and scene-committed music journalism, we invite you to become part of El Panfleto.
Become a member, share our stories, and help ensure Venezuelan independent music gets the documentation and momentum it deserves.
